TSSD is a member in[of] the Internal Compliance Committee/Anti sexual harassment in more than 50 industries in Coimbatore and Tirupur Districts. TSSD, in addition to being a member organization, provides training to industry employees on the prevention of sexual harassment against women and girls at work. The trainers also discuss with the employees and record the complaints and issues, and submit a report to the industries with the[a] recommendation to resolve the issues. For the new industries, TSSD will facilitate for the effective implementation of the Anti Sexual Harassment Committee, aiming at the prevention of Sexual Harassment against women and girls at the workplace. The Corporate shall form an Anti sexual Harassment Committee as per the norms prescribed by the Government. TSSD will participate in the Anti Sexual Harassment Committee at least once in[every] two months. Further TSSD will develop strategies and modules on the prevention of Sexual Harassment against women and girls at the workplace and conduct an awareness program

Empowerment is a central theme that runs through all our activities. We believe in empowering individuals and communities to take charge of their own lives and destinies. Our empowerment programs include capacity building, women's empowerment, community mobilization, and advocacy for social justice. We aim to foster self-reliance, resilience, and inclusivity in all our endeavours. Community Based Organizations (CBOs) are non-profit groups that work at a local level to improve the quality of the life of the community. The focus is to build equality across society in all streams – health care, environment, quality of education, access to technology. Sustainability is the ultimate outcome of all the CBOs. TSSD has formed three Community Based Organizations to sustain the projects pertaining to Health, Livelihood and Tribal Development. Community leaders and direct beneficiaries are the office bearers of the CBOs. .

Our flagship programme is a 2-hour career guidance session that we run in school & colleges. In the session we use films, presentations, written work and discussion to cover a variety of topics around careers, courses and goals. Our survey after the session shows that 74% of the students found the session “Very Useful”. In 2020 we ran the session in ALL government junior colleges in the district of Tirupur , reaching more than 6000 students. This has been a major achievement for us. The reception has been very positive from students, teaching staff and school managements. TSSD took a big leap by way of extending its activity to Community Mental Health Care.If families were supported to care for their mentally ill members, then their abandonment could be prevented. we do such a project which takes psychiatric treatment to the door steps of villages. The uniqueness of our project is that it reaches out to the most vulnerable and suffering section of society, the mentally ill. It prevents them from ending up on the streets and become victims of human traffickin

Since 2017, the TSSD has been offering courses in tailoring, embroidery, and value added embellishment in readymade garments. Additional courses such as computer applications and hardware, electrical, electronics and wiring, were introduced in the curriculum in 2018. Two years thereon, garment supervisory skill development courses were introduced along with personal development courses. The overall goal of the various skills development courses is to provide youth, especially women, better employment opportunities. TSSD offers courses in the districts of Tirupur, Coimbatore.

The first and foremost Sector under which our organization operates is Health. We firmly believe that good health is the foundation for overall well-being. Through various initiatives, we strive to improve access to quality healthcare services, promote preventive measures, and raise awareness about key health issues. Our programs focus on areas such as primary healthcare, disease prevention, maternal and child health, and community health education.
