TSSD (Tiruppur Societies for Social Development) is an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) based in Tiruppur (Tamilnadu, India), comprising of professionals (Social Workers, Educationalists, Volunteers) as well as grass-root workers. The motto is “SELF-SUFFICIENCY and SUSTAINABILITY.
The ultimate aim of TSSD is attaining community development through self-sufficiency of the community. The members of TSSD are working along with community volunteers who are organized in community based organizations (CBO'S). All activities in the community are planned in collaboration with the CBO'S and implemented in the community through the CBO'S. Hence, the community becomes SELF- SUFFICIENT and the community development work is SUSTAINABLE.
